Research Interests and Current Projects

Roland Reyes is a Ph.D. candidate in the Quantitative Methods program at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. He is interested in measurement, particularly in item response theory and its applications for investigating the precision and validity of scales, test score equating, and test construction, among others. He is also interested in examining stability and change over time using both multilevel and structural equation modeling based techniques. Prior to joining the Quantitative Methods program, Roland worked at the Office of Research and Evaluation at the School District of Philadelphia as a Research Assistant and at the Netter Center for Community Partnerships as a Quantitative Analyst Associate. He is currently co-teaching EDUC667 (Introductory Statistics for Educational Research) and has served as a Teaching Assistant for EDUC768 (Measurement Theory & Test Construction).
